Our mission is to assess and develop the best instructional practices for our students, allowing them to progress in all areas; academically, socially and emotionally.  The program is individualized for each student and is a supportive, success oriented environment that capitalized on student strengths and remediates deficits so that the student can reach his or her full potential.

The CHLA School will address the needs of students, in grades K-8, who present with special needs in the areas of cognitive and social development. Our students come to us with a variety of needs including diagnosis of ADHD, PDD, High Functioning Autism and Learning Disabilities.

Entry into the Center includes a comprehensive evaluation to best assess the specific needs of  the individual student. This multi-disciplinary assessment incorporates speech and language, psychology, educational, occupational and vision evaluations.  So that we may address the individual needs of each student, the comprehensive assessment  is required prior to admissions.

The specific needs of our students include individualized and small group specialized academic instruction. Some of the integrated services that will be provided to our students include:  Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Educational Remediation, and/or Attention Training.
