Alicia
Braccia is a Florida Licensed School Psychologist who received her Masters
Degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology at Fairfield
University, in Connecticut. Prior to moving to Florida and forming
the Center for Health, Learning and Achievement’s multi-disciplinary team,
she was a Teacher, Peer Supervisor and School Psychologist in the New York
Public School System. Mrs. Braccia brings over 16 years of experience as
a Certified Teacher and School Psychologist from Preschool through 12th
grade.
She has worked as a School Psychologist in
private practice in Florida for several years. Mrs. Braccia has brought
together a group of talented professionals in the areas of speech and language,
developmental optometry, audiology, occupational therapy, and educational
remediation. This multi-disciplinary team works collaboratively
for screenings and comprehensive evaluations to assess every aspect of
a child. The team also provides parents with a case manager to help
facilitate the team’s prioritized recommendations.
Her main objective is to be an advocate for
children and to help them develop a sense of self-worth and a love of learning,
so they can be fully functioning members of the community.
